Well I got the job...but am I happy?

After a month and a half of 7 interviews, I finally got the "official" call last night that the American Business Woman's Association was going to offer me a job!!
Woo Hoo! Right?
Well.....
They offered me a part time job in ...SALES....
Hmmm.....
I knew I was interviewing a job in sales, I was also interviewing for a job in Marketing and also Event Planning. I knew they wanted me. Bad. I was the only one they kept calling back to see if they could find a place for me. I even mentioned at one point that perhaps the sales job sounded more interesting than the marketing one.....I dunno, they confused me with a zillion calls, and going back to the office every other frickin' week!
*sigh*
They never said anything about part time for Chrissake.
Still, tho....I'll be making more money than my lovely no-brain using job at GE. And I'll only be working 3 days a week too! I'll have time to go to the gym (yeah right) or join a yoga class (bought a new mat, havent taken it out of the box) or to sit around on my ass for four extra days.
So, the choice is....work hard for 9-10 hours a day, 3 days a week and make 100-150 more a week...
OR
work not hard at all, for 8 hours a day, slack off, blog, read the paper and make less money and work 9-5?
Hmm.....

what would you do?

I start next Tuesday.

Woo Hoo! My first post

I"m not a virgin anymore....a blogging virgin that is.
I have finally decided....with a little help from my peep friend Karen to get on a Blog!
This is good.....I've been thinking of blogging, since I can't keep up with my journal. I try, I really do, and I have a beautiful silk covered journal, with hand made paper from Tibet or somewhere exotic like that but I just never get around to writing in it.
Well kids, if you didn't know, My 30th birthday is just around the corner!!
April 17th to be exact!
At first, I was concerned about turning 30. All those stupid "over the hill" black balloons and crap. Then I noticed I was getting lines around my eyes. Shit!
But, I had an extraordinary thought the other day....I EARNED those lines! And being 30!! I've so many war stories, good and bad over the last 20 years....(I dont count years 1-10, at least not now) so f*ck it!! I"m stoked about being 30.....I just wish I could celebrate it with friends rather than being in Kansas City, Missouri where I decided to relocate in January 2005.
I have friends out here, of course, Cullun, being one of them, the awesome guy he is to offer me shelter in his home in Gladstone. (BTW...Cullun's Birthday is tomorrow!! He'll be 25)
But most of them are left in Los Angeles, California, that beautiful, sunny beachy oasis with tons of cars and snotty people....ah, I miss it. I was a nightclub promoter out there...my company was called Laughing Bubble Entertainment. Oh yeah baby!!
I also promoted for Spundae, and Godskitchen in LA. I kick ass.

So, a call to arms to my friends spread widely across the world:
I want stories of me!!
Good, bad, ugly, bad hair days, or really really stupid ones. With my birthday coming up, I want to read all about the adventures that I've probably forgotton.
Mail them to ( I took the email off due to creepy people Googling my email!) Thanks for reading, and hopefully I can keep up with this, and not blow it off like everything else!!

Aries to a fault....
